If You Experience the World More Intensely Than Others
Have you ever felt like you experience the world more intensely than those around you? Maybe you’ve been told that you worry too much or that you need to stop overthinking things. As a child, perhaps you were labeled as "too sensitive," with well-meaning adults advising you to toughen up or grow a thicker skin.
If this resonates with you, then you might have spent years thinking there was something wrong with you. After all, society often values toughness over tenderness and logic over emotion. But what if I told you that your sensitivity isn’t a flaw but a powerful gift?
For years, I believed my sensitivity was something I needed to fix. I was the one who felt everything more deeply—the one who would cry during a sad commercial or feel anxious in crowded spaces. I was often overwhelmed by the emotions of others, to the point where I wondered if I was just too fragile for this world.
But over time, I’ve come to realize that being sensitive is not a weakness. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Sensitivity is a superpower, a unique ability to perceive and understand the world on a deeper level. There’s nothing wrong with you if you’re sensitive—quite the contrary. Your ability to feel deeply is a trait that many great artists, thinkers, and innovators share. Sensitives are often highly conscientious and intuitive, qualities that are incredibly valuable in any setting.
People like us are born to be leaders and spiritual guides. When we embrace our sensitivity and use it to its fullest potential, we can change not only our own lives but also the world around us.
A Gift
The first step in this journey is to recognize and accept your sensitivity for what it is: a gift. Instead of trying to suppress your feelings or change who you are, learn to work with your sensitivity. Acknowledge that it allows you to connect with others on a profound level and to see the world in ways that others might miss.
If you’re still unsure whether you’re a sensitive, I encourage you to explore this further. There are many resources available that can help you understand this trait better. You can also DIY your awakening process by soul searching and documenting the things that happened or are happening in your life.
Here's the soul-searching workbook I developed especially for empaths.

Remember, there’s nothing wrong with feeling deeply. Sensitivity is a strength, and it’s time we start treating it as such.
